Gjenbruk - et felles ansvar.

 

Aalesund Øst Rotaryklubb har denne høsten et prosjekt som går på innsamling og videresalg av brukte klær. Det innsamlede tøyet er nå ute for salg hos bruktbutikken Green i Ålesund sentrum.

FN oppfordrer i sitt bærekraftsmål nummer 12 til ansvarlig forbruk og produksjon.  Dette skal vi oppnå ved at man innen 2030 skal redusere avfallsmengden betydelig gjennom forebygging, reduksjon, materialgjenvinning og ombruk (delmål 12.5).  Rotary støtter opp om FN sine bærekraftsmål og for den lokale klubben vår er dette en fin anledning til å få inn tiltrengte midler som i neste omgang skal brukes på  nye lokale velledige prosjekter.

Onsdag 6.. november var Aalesund Øst Rotaryklubb vertskap for årets guvernørbesøk. Årets distriktsguvernør er Lidun Hareide fra Ulstein Rotaryklubb.

Årets besøk i Ålesund var en felles samling med Aalesund Rotaryklubb, Giske Rotaryklubb, Rotary Young og Aalesund Øst Rotaryklubb.  Hareide hadde først en separat gjennomgang med de enkelte styrene før det ble et felles møte der guvernøren gikk gjennom de viktigste målene for dette rotaryåret.

This is how we live it in our Dientitos de Leche project, where we bring specialists in oral hygiene to teach the little ones how to care for their smile, hold a brushing workshop, oral check for disease prevention and give them toothbrushes

This activity is a sample of our initiative through a Rotary area of interest: disease prevention and treatment.

In previous weeks we attended the invitation of @rotaractviveroscoyoacan to attend as volunteers at the first Gatotitlán Festival

In previous weeks we attended the invitation of @rotaractviveroscoyoacan to attend as volunteers at the first Gatotitlán Festival at the Pantheon Museum of San Fernando , as well as supporting with food for the kittens that live in the enclosure.

This was an initiative by the Secretariat of Culture of Mexico City whose aim is to promote animal care. Different cultural activities, food donation and free anti-rabies vaccination were done.

We appreciate the invitation of the president of the Rotaract Club Viveros Coyoacán, @jatziarriaga and, as always, it was a pleasure to greet the Club @rotaract_cdmx
